Stainless Steel Diverter Valves
Diverter valves from Volkmann USA feature stainless steel construction to permit installation in food, nutrition, pharmaceutical and other sanitary bulk material handling processes.
Installed with the company's pneumatic vacuum conveying systems, the diverter valves split a single material stream into multiple streams to load multiple hoppers, feeders, mixers, vertical form fill seal machines or other equipment at the same time. Conversely, the sanitary diverter valves may be used to transfer materials from multiple locations to a single location. In either configuration, the diverter valves streamline the conveying system and reduce the complexity of material handling infrastructure for improved efficiency and versatility.
Suitable for transferring powders; pellets; mixtures; and other dry, bulk solids, the hygienic diverter valves are fabricated from a choice of 316L or 304 stainless steel. The valves work in continuous conveying and may be shifted on the fly without interrupting the material flow.
The diverter valves may be pneumatically or electrically activated and/or integrated into existing PLC-based control systems. Optional FDA- and ATEX-compliant models are available.
QualiTru Sampling Systems
TruStream Drum Port
This drum port is compatible with TruStream7 Septa. The TruStream Drum Port allows for withdrawal of samples through the septum in the drum port without having to tip the drum upright. This design simplifies the sampling process. The fully contained sampling system mitigates external contamination and exposure to air, maintaining product purity and quality. This ensures that samples are collected aseptically, preserving their integrity for accurate analysis.
The TruStream Drum Port meets Food and Drug Administration (FDA) food contact compliance standards and is both BPA- and phthalate-free. Constructed from POM plastic, the drum port can withstand temperatures up to 190°F and pressures up to 30 psi, as well as vacuum pressures down to -2.5 psi.

Feedos M Bulk Material Feeder
Developed to offer accurate feeding and dosing in a hygienic, low-maintenance design, the Feedos M bulk material feeder features a circular feeding chamber design that eliminates the potential for dead spaces to trap or stall material. Free-flowing and flow-resistant powders, granules, mixtures and other bulk materials flow consistently from the hopper to the screw feeder for discharge in precise, preset amounts at flow rates from 20 l/h to 3600 l/h.
Suitable for feeding food, chemical, pharmaceutical and other products in sanitary processes, the Feedos M includes a new sealing concept that applies lip seals on the drive shafts of both the feeding tool and intromitter for a tight, hygienic seal that permits installation in WIP/CIP processes. When removal for cleaning is preferred, the clever feeder quickly disconnects from the hopper without tools and may be reconnected in seconds.

MicroFlow III Workstation
The MicroFlow III is a Class 1 ductless carbon-filtered workstation equipped with particle pre-filter and activated carbon filtration, ideal for fumes, odors and non-hazardous chemical vapors. It is 24 in. wide, 20.75 in. high and 24 in. deep.
The workstation is completely self-contained with an integral recessed work surface to contain spills. A clear viewing sash surrounds the work area for user protection. The sash can be conformed for use with a microscope and is easily removable. Variable speed fan control allows for high speed 100 f/m airflow through the sash opening, or medium and low flow for sensitive operations.
Typical applications include sample weighing, general chemistry involving small volumes of common chemicals, gluing and drying operations, solvent cleaning of electronic parts, and soldering fumes and odors. The hood is available with a mobile table.

Dalamatic Food-Grade Filter Bags
By guaranteeing compliance with the Regulation EC 1935/2004, Regulation EU 10/2011 and Regulation EU 2023/2006, Donaldson’s Dalamatic filter bags are suitable for use in processes involving direct and indirect food-contact applications. The bags can serve facilities handling materials, including corn, flour, spices, cereals and sugar, as well as milk, fruit and coffee powders.
The bags are manufactured using individually certified compliant cuffs, main media and thread. They are available in three media types to suit different conditions and in filter surface areas ranging from 0.7 m2 to 2 m2.
Six sizes of Tetratex Contact filter bags are being offered, using an ePTFE membrane media suited to handle a range of temperatures and chemical conditions encountered in food or pharmaceutical settings without the risk of cross-contamination. Offering continuous resistance up to 150°C, these are also available in Anti-Static form to prevent the accumulation of hazardous static charges on the media surface, reducing the risk of explosions within the collector casing.
Six filter surfaces of Dalamatic bags based on Polyester Oleophobic Anti-Static media are also available, with resistance up to 135°C. Their stainless steel matrix scrim offers surface electrical resistance of less than 10^8 Ω. An oleo/hydro treatment improves dust cake release, especially when dealing with oily or moisture-sensitive products, making it suited for use in pet food applications. FE
