Vanmark
Helix Hydrocutting System
The system uses twin cutting heads in a stacked configuration that allows for increased throughput, a single point of access to the heads and a moderate footprint. Designs can scale from two to 12 or more cutters to maximize production. The hydrocutter replaces mechanical cutters, offering ease of maintenance with toolless blade changeouts and annual rebuild service by Vanmark technicians.
Emerson
Rosemount 4051S Pressure Transmitter
This pressure transmitter can provide local real-time control, eliminating the need for a separate device, such as a programmable logic controller. This functionality is provided by two relay switches, each of which can be configured to provide on/off control of pumps, motors and other equipment. These switches can also provide alerts based on pressure, flow, totalized flow, level, volume or module temperature. Engineered to withstand the toughest processes and the harshest environments, a response time of 40 milliseconds allows the 4051S to be used in the most demanding applications.
Urschel
Sprint 2 Dicer
The Sprint 2 Dicer with built-in discharge conveyor belt provides continuous 2- or 3-dimensional cutting for uninterrupted production. Its slice thickness, crosscut and circular knife spindles can be adjusted to achieve a full range of dices, crumbles/granulations or strips. As product moves through the process, precise cuts result from the crosscut knife spindle working in conjunction with other cutting components to create a compact cutting zone. The conveyor belt offers optimized, controlled and complete discharge of the cut product to reduce waste.
Yokogawa Electric Corporation
Sushi Sensor Steam Trap Monitor
This device utilizes a temperature sensor and an acoustic sensor to detect the status of steam traps. It can be used in environments with a maximum steam temperature of 440°C. The use of long-range wireless LoRaWAN communication gives this device the ability to communicate at distances of up to around 1 km, enabling the monitoring of equipment over a wide area. These monitoring devices can be installed wherever steam traps are located and can be connected to a single gateway.
GEA
Bake Extruder
GEA’s Bake Extruder has been developed to address a range of industrial baking needs, supporting various production styles, including wirecut, co-extruded, filled, continuous extruded and like-deposited products. These formats are commonly used in the production of cookies, bars and biscuits with varied textures, fillings and inclusions. The system offers modularity with interchangeable dies and cutting mechanisms, including a redesigned wirecut system that can operate at speeds of up to 350 strokes per minute across a 1,700-mm maximum working width.
