Genecis Bioindustries

Tea with Compostable Pods

Genecis Bioindustries' Mad Tea tea pods are engineered to be industrially compostable. The tea pods are made from a proprietary strain of bacteria that creates bioplastics, including polyhydroxyalkanoates (PHA), which are natural and non-toxic to humans and wildlife. Able to be broken down completely, without leaving microplastics behind, Mad Tea pods also offer durability during the brewing process, resulting in less waste compared to traditional plastic or aluminum coffee and tea pods.

Hapman

Tubular Drag Conveyor

Hapman's CablePro Tubular Drag Conveyor is designed specifically for gentle, clean and efficient transport of products, such as cereals, grains, nuts, frozen foods, pet food and other delicate items. The CablePro system features FDA-approved components, including food-grade coatings and polished stainless-steel tubing. It is equipped with self-lubricating UHMW disks, which are injection-molded directly onto a pre-stretched, food-grade oil-lubricated stainless-steel braided cable with a nylon coating.

Paboco

Market-Ready Paper Bottle and Cap

Paboco announced the launch of a new product line, including what the company says is the first-ever available combination of paper bottles and fiber-based caps. The company partnered with Blue Ocean Closures, which launched a standard closure for solids and pills, to be immediately ready for market use. This entire package, including cap, has a reported total weight of less than 16g, with an HDPE barrier weighing less than 2g. With the bottle’s thin barrier, the combined package is recyclable as paper packaging.

Multi-Conveyor

Adjustable Carton Pusher

Multi-Conveyor has designed and manufactured a series of independently-powered plastic chain conveyors to transport single-lane product to a customer’s existing shrink wrapper or to its case packer. At one juncture, the operator allows single cartons to travel straight to the case packer. Alternatively, they may engage a vertical urethane belt transfer (UBT) with eagle belting, and extend/retract sensors can be lowered into position to right angle transfer cartons, redirecting them to a pusher device fed multi-pack shrink wrapper.

Global Drain Technologies

Drainage Solutions for Food Processing Facilities Emphasize Food Safety

Global Drain Technologies' FoodSafe brand includes a lineup of products engineered to meet the stringent requirements of food and beverage processing plants, such as the Tamper-Proof Magnetic Strainer. Designed to act as a secondary strainer in catch basins and area drains, this product prevents unwanted materials from entering the drain system. Its magnetic lock and key system ensures only authorized personnel can access the strainer. It features a food-safe design with no niches or sharp corners.
