X-Ray Inspection and Check-Weighing Solutions

Loma’s systems have been specifically designed to assist manufacturers in maintaining high production, ensuring compliance and enhancing quality control output. Among the showcased products will be the IQ4 Waferthin, IQ4 Pipeline, IQ4 Vertical Fall and IQ4 FLEX Conveyor. Also exhibiting will be Loma System’s X5 Series X-ray inspection solutions, including the X5 Space Saver and X5 Compact. Additionally, Loma Systems will present the CW3 1500L Automatic Check-Weigher, known for its dynamic weighing accuracy, especially with flexible packaging.

Pick-and-Place Robotic Motion Solution

From industrial to IP69 and IP67S-rated hygienic applications LinMot robots have a compact footprint and are fully electric. At the show, key demonstrations from LinMot USA will include the company’s robotic DM pick-and-place with rotary table, SM pick-and-place with electric gripper module and an example of inline capping with a LinMot PR02linear rotary motor. Designed for applications with strict sanitary requirements, the hygienic SM pick-and-place is constructed with stainless steel that holds up to harsh chemical wash-down. This robot offers IP69 or IP67S-rated protection.

Multi-Conveyor

The company will have multiple conveyor technologies on display with the claim of reviewing all of them in less than 30 seconds. One conveyor loop to be showcased is a culmination of the company’s core product offerings; a product bump turn conveyor for a 90° rotation section, plastic chain table-style-top conveyor section, plastic belt mat-style-top conveyor section, a dual belt product turner, LBP (low back pressure) transitions, an ARB (Activated Roller Belt), the PanelView Plus touchscreen conveyor controls, and separately running will be modular, pre-engineering solutions.

DIAMIND Software and Hardware

The company will be introducing DIAMIND, a series of interconnected software and hardware systems that, combined, provide physical products with digital identities. DIAMIND operates at the line, factory, warehouse, enterprise and supply chain levels, which the company reports guarantees product quality through inspection systems to end-to-end traceability via integrated, cloud-based data management. DIAMIND’s integrated setup reportedly provides a single reference point for simplified project management and centralized support services for line, factory, warehouse, enterprise and supply chain.

Films & Sustainable Packaging Concepts

The company will be coming together with SN Maschinenbau and its U.S. representative, PPi Technologies Group, in the Central Hall to present a solution for the efficient and sustainable packaging of products such as beef jerky, air-dried sausages, grated cheese, nuts, snacks and also non-food products in practical stand-up pouches with zipper reclosure. Because the film and zipper reclosure are based on PE, the packaging can be fed into the appropriate material cycle as a single-material solution. The company’s materials can be equipped with different features and barrier properties.
