Lump Breaker for Testing Dry Bulk Materials
The Gericke Nibbler is a coarse grinder and pre-breaker for the size reduction in a broad range of applications. It is used for the deagglomeration, rework and breaking down/size reduction of lumpy or frozen products. To further increase the usability of this device, Gericke has completely redesigned the housing and the screen. It gives now even better access to all areas of the equipment for inspection and cleaning. For maximum comfort, the Nibbler is also available in an extractable version. It is capable of metal-to-metal contact detection between the basket and the paddles, which sends a signal to the control system to isolate power to the drive motor.

Pump Motor for Safety and Convenience
Grundfos’ MLE motor series includes a power output of up to 30 horsepower (HP), an integrated Safe Torque Off (STO) function, Modbus RTU built-in as standard, Bluetooth connectivity and an Ethernet port. Grundfos says the MLE motor is designed with customer safety and convenience in mind. With its integrated STO function, the motor mitigates the risk of exposure to high pressure or hazardous liquids in open systems, ensuring safety for workers and the environment.

Centrifugal Pump for Beverage Applications
Finish Thompson’s AC5 centrifugal pump features a close coupled design with standard, recessed or high head impellers available. Multiple seal offerings provide flexibility, and the pump is compatible with NPT, BSP, flanged or tri-clamp connections. Built from 316 stainless steel, it is constructed with FKM, EPDM, PTFE or FDA-compliant Buna o-rings and mounts to both NEMA and IEC motor frames. A back pullout design and secure V-clamp housing connection makes maintenance easy and minimizes downtime.

Leybold has added a new model to its CLAWVAC dry claw vacuum pump series—the CLAWVAC CP B. This vacuum pump is designed for robust processes including food processing, materials handling and environmental industries. The CLAWVAC CP B’s product features allow for precise operation under harsh conditions and especially for processes involving particles, vapors and contaminated gases. The CLAWVAC B features a pair of stainless steel claws that rotate in the cylinder with no contact or wear. Its coated and corrosion-resistant vacuum chamber is easy to clean.

Watson-Marlow Fluid Technology Solutions (WMFTS) has expanded its line of Certa Sine pumps for food and beverage applications with the Certa Compact. Integrator customers say one of the key challenges they face is how to maximize space for a food and beverage installation without compromising on the quality of the pump. In response, WMFTS has recently expanded its Certa Sine pump range with a space-saving model, the Certa Compact. The design of this model enables a 30% footprint reduction compared to the existing Certa Sine pump range while maintaining the integrity of a premium pump and is ideal for applications up to 87 PSI.
