u-OS Industrial IoT and Automation Operating System
The operating system is designed for maintenance with cloud-based diagnostics and fleet management for deployed devices. Built on open standards like Linux, OPC-UA and Docker, the company calls it “future-proof.” u-OS has universal compatibility, supports multiple fieldbus protocols, and is scalable, able to adapt with cloud-based device management. An added feature is that the CODESYS APP, an IEC61131-3 programming tool used in machine building and system integration, is integrated into the u-OS platform.

The Pro4000i heavy-duty food-portioning depositor is designed to offer precision, efficiency and versatility for food producers. This machine includes Unifiller's largest single deposit capabilities, a range from 445 mL to 4440 mL, geared for commercial kitchens, institutional catering and other food manufacturing facilities. Unifiller says its key features are flexibility, high-speed depositing, food-safe design and maintenance, accurate portioning and customizable solutions.

XTRs Tray Sealing Machine
The XTRs machine is a semi-automatic, two-station rotary-table, capable of sealing 30 packs per minute with a two-impression tool the doesn’t need compressed air. The plug-and-play solution features a human machine interface (HMI) that offers multi-language settings and diagnostics and alerts that are automatically recorded to an audit trail. The HMI also allows for recipe-driven product change and an automatic tool lock. The machine offers users tool loading from the front of the machine, simplifying tool changeover, and is compatible with legacy GTR tooling.

Mondini Trave Sinfonia Tray Sealer
Producers can automate tray packaging processes with control of the product loading (positional accuracy within 10 microns), sealing and unloading process. This process is combined with Mondini’s new sealer—its largest sealer to date—a 1500-mm-long tooling footprint that delivers 33,000 lbs. of sealing pressure. The new Mondini sealer is integrated with the electronically controlled magnetic track system. It allows the Trave Sinfonia to achieve tray throughput and efficiency in a compact form factor that requires less manual interaction, according to the company.
